I-TRAN
I-TRAN is the International Tamil Refugee Advocacy Network, they provide services and assistance to Tamil refugees worldwide.
Marisha assisted with research, reports and speeches, summarising new information and data to help raise awareness and advocate for the Tamil Refugee cause at the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva, Switzerland.
Marisha travelled to Geneva, Switzerland with I-TRAN to the United Nations Human Rights Council 37th Session in March 2018. She spoke at the UNHRC about the rights of refugees, in particular, female Tamil refugees and their journey to justice.
