ATD (All Together in Dignity) 4th World is an international NGO which aims to advocate for and with those living in extreme poverty.

I joined ATD’s London head office as a Programmes Intern for Summer 2018.

During this internship I lived and worked with the migrant and refugee families who were experiencing extreme poverty. I assisted with programmes run by ATD London including a Family Fun Day, a Skill Sharing weekend with adolescents and a one-week Respite Break where families stayed in Surrey, England.

My time was dedicated to the preparation of these programs and evaluation following them. In addition to this I worked on research projects in collaboration with Oxford University, attending meetings and transcribing formal documentation.
