beVisioneers: The Mercedes Benz Fellowship
beVisioneers: The Mercedes Benz Fellowship is a program run by the non-profit The DO School Fellowships, based in Berlin, Germany. The Fellowship gives disadvantaged youth, aged 18 - 28 years old, the tools to pursue their planet-positive idea.
I worked initially as the Regional & Local Program Manager, managing over 100 fellows in 9 countries. I was promoted after 1 year to become the Senior Regional Manager of Asia, a position which I have held for 3 years. In this role I manage over 500 youth climate Fellows, in India, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand, as well as stakeholders from Europe and Asia.
My day to day includes; developing strategic regional insights, creating and implementing in-person programming, building our ecosystem in the EU & APAC and supporting on Fellow crisis management. I use my soft skills and knowledge in active listening, intersectionality and creating healthy, sustainable community spaces.
